The Virginia Local Government Auditors Association is a statewide organization dedicated to promoting the local government audit profession.
VLGAA FALL CONFERENCE This fall's conference will mark the 20th anniversary of the VLGAA's first meeting. The Fall 2008 Conference will be held on Friday, October 17th at the Sheraton Richmond South. The conference will feature Gary Blackmer of the City of Portland, Oregon and regular columnist in the A.L.G.A. Newsletter. We are also hoping to have a presentation by the Baltimore, Maryland Inspector General. The conference will provide 6 CPEs. |

A Little History
In 1988, a small group of Virginia Local government auditors started meeting to share methods and common experiences. This small group has developed into a formal organization with over 100 members statewide.
